The Argentine MoD seeks to relaunch the agreement with Israel for the modernization of the Army’s TAM (Medium Argentine Tank) combat vehicles. This was confirmed by the Argentine ambassador to Israel and Cyprus, Sergio Urribarri, who announced that the country is finalizing the details for carrying out a commercial and scientific mission between the next months of May and June.
The former agreement was discontinued during the administration of former President Mauricio Macri.
The TAMs are the flagship vehicle of the Argentine Army, which currently has approximately 230 units.
